Introduction to the blog.

My name is Sebastian Kitcat; I have completed my fundraising to teach English as a secondary language to secondary school students in Malaysia for 12 months with Project Trust.

Project Trust is a registered educational charity which provides volunteers an long-term overseas volunteering educational experience through living and working with people in communities very different to those which they have grown up, without taking work away from local people. Project Trust has been sending over 300 volunteers abroad each year for the last 50 years.

The money that I had fund-raised will contribute to my travel costs, training course, flights, accommodation, food, all insurances (medical or otherwise) and overseas support from Project Trust, etc …

My aim is to write on this blog roughly on a monthly basis giving updates on what I have done on this Gap Year teaching English to the Form 1s to 5s of Malaysian school Maktab Rendah Sains MARA Tun Ghazali Shafie (MRSM TGS for short).

I want to thank everybody who has helped me either via donation, helping me write letters, and help me fund raise the money to get out here and teach students from ages of 12-17 at MRSM TGS.
